"Little Old Man steps out: Teacher and students of the Jamaica House Basic School applaud "The Little Old Man" as members of Kindergarten 1 performed at the official opening of the school yesterday. Prime Minister Manley who declared the school open, announced bigger plans for basic school education next year. He also announced that a Day-Care Centre is to be built on Jamaica House lands as part of the "Yard Day-Care Programme" and he made it clear that no Housing Estate or Government office would be built without facilities for day-care centres."
