"Lionel Town Hospital gets an ambulance - a 1982 Volkswagen ambulance from Sealand Service Incorporated and the Grace and Staff Community Development Fund. Making the presentation is the manager of Sealand, John Phillips (4th from left) to the Senior Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr. G.K. Rahyo. The guest of honour at the ceremony was the Member of Parliament for the area, and Deputy Prime Minister Hugh Shearer [5th from left]. Also attending the ceremony were M. Ferguson, representative of Grace Kennedy, Patrick Burgess, General Manager of H. MacCaulay Orrett, agents for Sealand in Jamaica and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grace Kennedy; Jimmy Moss-Solomon, representative of Grace and Staff Community Development Fund, and Benjamin Bent, vice-chairman of the Board of Governors of the Lionel Town Public Hospital."
