Title

Jamaica Fire Brigade removing cow from the Barclays Sports Club's pool

Description

"It was not a particularly hot day. But of course there has been no rain and it has been very dry no one knows whether this is what prompted a cow through the gates of the Barclays Sports Club on Phoenix Avenue yesterday, but before you could say "beef stew", she was in the pool. And there she remained swimming around for the less better part of the three hours yesterday, quite ignoring investigations to tennis and other less cooling pastimes, until the fire Brigade got into the act and performed the unique rescue, equipped with rope, ladder and wits."
