"The Barclays Bank badminton team who were winners in 'D' Division of the Annual Inter-Club Badminton League Competition. The team, competing for the first time in the League, defeated their closet rivals, Chisholm Champs by five games to two, on Monday, June 17 at the Badminton Bank Sports CLub, to win the Akin Feres Cup.
