"Members of the Back to Africa Mission at Palisadoes Airport yesterday morning before flying to New York by BOAC on the first stage of a two-month tour of five African countries to investigate migration there. In from from left are Mr. W.M. Blackwood of the UNIA; the Hon. E.H. Lake, Minister of Social Services in Antigua who is travelling with the mission at his government's expense; Dr. L.C. Leslie former Mayor of Spanish Town and leader of the mission, Mr. Z. Munroe Scarlett of the Afro and West Indian Welfare league, and Dr. M.B.
