The 1975 Festival Song Promotional Show

"The 1975 Festival Song Promotional Show is on the road. On Friday, Mr. Bruce Lannaman of Lannaman's Confectionery (at left) presented the Festival Director, Mr. Hugh Nash, with the keys to the Lannaman's Musical Coach which will be used to take the six finalists in this year's Festival Song competition on tour. The singers, seen boarding the bus, will be performing at a number of promotional shows organized by the Festival Commission. The first show took place Friday night at the Seville Theatre in St. Ann's Bay. Other shows are scheduled for the Delmar Theatre in Port Antonio on July 9, the Odeon Theatre, Mandeville July 10, the State Theatre Kingston July 16, Jarrett Park, Montego Bay July 17, and the Federal Theatre Grange Hill July 22. The 1975 Festival Song will be selected at a Grand Spectacular at the National Arena on July 24."
