Grants Pen Gully
Title
Grants Pen Gully
Description
"Soon these young residents of the Grants Pen Gully will no longer have to wait in line for water at two standpipes which serve almost 5,000 people. KSAC Councilor Tony Phillips (turning the tap) who toured the area with Councilor Karlene Kirlew on Friday (October 22) announced that the Water Commission is to install water mains within a month. Sanitary conditions in the area will also improve when KSAC garbage trucks are able to enter the area to collect refuse, upon completion of a new $20,000 road through the gully."
