Multi-eared corn bred in China
Title
Multi-eared corn bred in China
Description
"A high-yielding, multi-eared hybrid corn that out-yields all local variety is being popularized in China with satisfactory results. Each stalk of the hybrid bears 2-4 productive ears, while other corn plants usually have only one or two ears each. The ears of the hybrid are shorter and the kernels, though smaller, contain 10.8 per cent protein - 2.4 percent more than the kernels of other popular corn varieties in China."
