"Contestants this year for the Miss Westmoreland title, continued their round of social engagements on June 23, with an appearance at a bathing suit parade at the Frome Sports Club, near Savanna-La-Mar. The contestants won warm applause from the enthusiastic audience and they are seen here on the lawns of the Sports Club grounds (from left) Loletha Anglin, Miss Grace Food Processing; Paula Chang, Miss Hutchinson's Service Station; Verona Dennisor, Miss D & Y Supermarket; Linette McBean, Miss Paradise Park; and Elizabeth Swaby, Miss The Arthurs. On Friday, the contestants will participate in a motorcade through the main towns of Westmoreland will take place at the Paradise Park visitor attraction, near Ferris district, Westmoreland. The Zap Pow Band will provide music for the occasion."
