"The newly-opened Negril Beach Village is now trying to promote Jamaican culture in their weekly entertainment programme. Here the dance troupe from Jericho All-Age school is pictured during their grand performance of the Quadrille at the Village, which was backed by the Mount Beace Mento Band from Hanover. The troupe has been dancing since 1971, and is trained by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Lurlita Green. They have won four gold medals in Festival, and in 1973 they toured Peru."
