Description

"Two container handling cranes worth more than two million dollars are being built at the Newcastle upon Type works of the Vickers Engineering Group in England for the Kingston Port Authority. These cranes will be used at the new transshipment port and should be in operation by the end of this year. They will handle universal containers of between 20 and 40 ft. in length and up to 40 tons in weight."
