"Strict security by precaution were taken to look after the 12,000 new watches and clocks on show at the recent trade fair held in Hamburg Federal Republic of Germany. They represented the 1974 collection of wholesalers from all over the Federal Republic and West Berlin, fashion and new designs being as much a feature of the chronometer industry as of haute couture. The current trend is towards Victorian-style alarm clocks in all sines but all with a tinny clang that is sure to wake you."
