"The clock-tower in Half Way Tree Square recently received a most welcome renovation when the Berger Paint Company undertook the task of painting this well known landmark. In thanking Berger for their kind and public-spirited gesture the Chairman of the Civic Affairs Committee of the K.S.A.C. - Councillor Larel Maloney said that he hoped other firms would emulate Berger and add a little colour and beauty to their community."
