Archbishop Yeshaq reading a special peace prayer
Title
Archbishop Yeshaq reading a special peace prayer
Description
"His Grace Archbishop Yeshaq, who is in charge of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the Western Hemisphere, reading the special prayer for peace at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Maxfield Avenue, last Sunday. At right is Kes Gabre Selassie Fitz-Gerald and beside him, newly ordained deacon, Messale Engeda. The prayer asked for the purifying of hearts and the sanctifying of souls in a world where love was waxing cold and where men were betrayed and hated by one another.
His Grace Archbishop Yeshaq , who is in charge of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the Western Hemisphere looking at a surprise cheque given to him by the Iraqi Ambassador Peter Yousuf and not reading a prayer for 'peace as was erroneously stated in the Sunday Sun of January 25."
