Maroons gather in their community by the monument of one of their heroes for a meeting.

Cenotaph in memory of the sons of Portland who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great World War, 1914-1918. It is located along William and West streets in the Portland square. A list of the names of these men is also listed on the cenotaph.
