"The Metrication system took priority over all other events at Winchester Primary's Interhouse Track and Field Championship last Thursday. This class 2 Maths Race was won by Bogle House pair, Carmen Jackson, kneeling third and Beverly McFarlane, fourth from left clockwise, Garvey House pair Ann-Marie Barclay, bending second left, and Donna Aarons, kneeling, sixth from left clockwise came second. Another Bogle House pair Marcia Legister (standing in white) and Angella Brown (kneeling fifth from left clockwise) came third. Garvey House came first with 169 points beating former champion Gordon House which scored 119 points; Bogle House took third place with 117 points."
